A pair of bespoke commissions I created for twins, this work weaves a visual biography into the structure of the name. Inspired by traditional historiated initials, I used graphic pen and ink to transform typography into a landscape of personal history.
In Nick, I shifted the focus to the tactile and the artisanal, constructing each letter through fabric textures to reflect a love of tailoring and craftsmanship. It is my tribute to the skill of an artisan.
In Izzy, I adorned the lettering with intricate floral motifs as a backdrop for a diverse array of passions, capturing a personality that is both cultured and adventurous.
