In this portrait, I wanted to honour Petra, a Cocker Spaniel within the Hearing Dog program. Using luminous, layered washes, I worked to capture the characteristic silkiness of her coat and her attentive gaze. It's a tribute to a young dog destined to, one day, raise life-changing companions.
